IP Address
Collected by Matomo but immediately anonymised. The last two octets are masked before storage (e.g. 192.168.x.x). Full IPs are never stored.
Affiliate Click Data
Anonymous click tracking when you follow a bookmaker link, for commission attribution. No personally identifiable data is stored.
We do not collect: names, email addresses, payment details or account data. GemPlay UK has no user registration or login system.

We use Matomo Analytics — a privacy-first, self-hosted, open-source analytics platform. Unlike cloud analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Matomo:

- ✓Stores all data on our own servers, so your data never leaves our control

- ✓Is fully compliant with UK GDPR and ICO guidance
Opt out:Select “Essential Only” in our cookie banner to disable Matomo tracking entirely. Your preference is saved and respected on all future visits. We also honour the Do Not Track (DNT) browser setting. If enabled, no analytics data is collected regardless of cookie consent.

6. Third-Party Bookmaker Links

7. Data Retention
Matomo Analytics data is retained for 13 months then automatically deleted. Cookie preferences stored in your browser persist until you clear browser data. Affiliate click logs are retained for 90 days for commission reconciliation then permanently deleted.
